Hi all,

We are currently using a domain dfs in Active Directory to provide all users
accross the Organisation a single view of files services for example
\\domain.com\\shared which is mapped via S: drive

The data is obviously spread across multiple servers. I currently have a
Buisiness Continuity server in a remote location which also holds all the
data which has been replicated to it from the file servers that make up the
dfs links.

What I would like to do is something like this.

If an event occured which knocked out all file servers (which do happen to
be in one site) I would like to redirect all users to the Server which holds
all the data which has been replicated.

I wondered using DFS what is the best way to do this? we are running Windows
2003 Server (No Service Pack) the standby servers has appliance edition
installed.

Any help much appreciated.

Regards

David
