Im in desperate need of some basic webpart knowlege. From this article -

i found a great tips about custom search, but the file that was provied is
an zipped cs file. what do i do with it to make it into a web part;)?

help would be great!

Grab the SDK from the msdn.microsoft.com/sharepoint site and go through
the basics of creating a web part. Once you've done that you should be
able to apply the .cs file (C# source file) to a similar project.
