My previous post still needs work, but this is another problem. I have
seen the solution to this before, just dont know how to implement it.
Win2k machine. The catalog manager displays with the 'manage catalog'
link disabled. Since this is a win2k machine, I cant use azman. Can
somebody give me an example of how to put the authorization stuff in so
this thing will work?

Btw, to get the webcatalogservice to work, I had to give 'Everyone'
permission to the catalogwebservice virtual folder. eeshh.

2. To get the catalogweb service to work you just need to give write
permisiions to the catalogauthorizationstore.xml to the account running the
ASPnet worker process. You dont need to give permissions to Everyone and
neither do you need to give permissions to the directory
