When I try to configure replication across my links, all of my links
are not eligible for replication and have a red 'X' beside them.

The wizard gives me this message: "Unknown: The specified domain either
does not exist or could not be contacted."

Why am I able to access the shares and add links, but when I try to
replicate, the domains can not be contacted?

Are the targets in the same forest? FRS can't replicate across forests.
