Stefano - Microsoft Wolfpack Clustering is not supported, and isn't
particularly relevant to how HIS works anyway.
HIS has it's own built-in resilience/HA features.
Can you describe your setup, what bits of HIS you use, and what in particular
you wanted to "cluster", and I can give you some info on what the equivalent in
HIS would be

Hi Neil .
the project I'm involved in consist in creating a Web Services-based
gateway to Mainframe procedures.
The solutions would be as follows .
HIS2004 to gateway windows to Mainframe .
IIS6.0 with web service to expose Mainframe procedures through HIS2004.
IIS60 services will call HIS2004 and that's why I thought of clustering
, I need a virtual name to be provided to IIS6.0 web services .
Hope this would clear our problem a bit .
Thanks for the help

Hi. i'm working in similar project, i worked with his2000, and use
loadbalancing feature. I dont know how to do this in his2004, because i must
do Web service interface. In this moment we use windows 2003, iis 6.0,
his2004, .dll files, instead .tlb files. Any help.
Thanks...

Stefano,
TI isn't my strong point, so don't take everything I say as gospel!
Is your actual mainframe connection being done with tcp-ip? If so, there's
probably no reason not to install the TI run-time components on each IIS server.
That way each IIS server would have it's own mainframe connection.
If you did need an SNA LU6.2 connection to the mainframe then the TI run-time is
going to have to communicate via an actual HIS server (or set of servers) though.
