creat a new virtual directory in iis for each portal u want (chANGE THE PORT

go into site settings and create a new portal...when prompted use the new

Yes... each portal requires it's own separate virtual server. As with other
websites on different virtual servers, you can accomplish this with host
headers or with a different port on each virtual server.

One thing to note though, you can't bind IP's to virtual servers for
SharePoint. Technically you can, but it's not supported and it will cause
issues down the road (which are un-do-able, but inconsistent). This is
being resolved in SP2 due 30-90days after .NET 2.0 RTM (~Nov 11).

You can also use host headers if you want to run all of them over port 80.
You will have some issues if you choose to use SSL but if no SSL then host
headers works great.

Hi,

I haven't seen this feature ( binding ips to virtual servers )in the list of
service pack 2 of SPS. Can anyone tell me if SP2 does or does not include
this feature?

Thanks,
Eric

Yes, it is. It was a new feature added to WSS SP2, which SP2 for SPS supports.
