Anybody have any tools or scripts that they created or would recommend to
allow query of the message archive in the SQL database to view old chat
sessions?

Tim,
We do not have any tool but the html file
ArchivingDataBaseQueries-Readme.htm (shipped as reskit for Vienna and sp1)
contains a few widely used queries which can be used to query the database.

Thx,

If you are looking for a commercial product, you will definitely want to
check out IMLogic's products (www.imlogic.com). I am not sure if they have
a trial version or not.
