Hi,

I work for a company whose order system is based on 'Mapics' which is an
IBM-mainframe based system. As such it has been largely unavailable to
eCommerce vendors who don't work exclusively in that area, and as a result
we have a HORRIBLE eCommerce system.

The newest version of the Mapics (now Infor) order management system
supports XML query/submit which opens it up to BizTalk and such, and makes
Commerce Server 2006 a real competitor to our current system. Unfortunately,
while we wait we need to code more and more of the logic that we are lacking
into our existing system when that time could be spent integrating CS2006.

Does anyone know if there is an early adopter or beta program I could join
to start building a proof-of-concept site leveraging CS2006, BT2006 (already
have this beta) as a complete Microsoft replacement for the closed and moldy
IBM solution we have now?

Thanks!

PS - As our current vendor has a habit of reading newsgroups and
flame-mailing us if we even consider alternatives (seriously, this is what
we deal with), I'd like to add a friendly FU to them and their archaic way
of doing business.
