How to use AFTP with mainframe |
|
|
Hi,
I would like to know how we can use the APPC File Transfer Protocol (AFTP).
We want to receive files from the mainframe in a folder on the HIS 2004
server. Is there a graphical interface for the protocol? How do we configure
the service? I did not find much information in the help file.
Thank you |

Jacques,
As Charles says, AFTP is no longer supported. You could use ordinary FTP (via
tcp-ip), or FTTSO/IND$FILE (via a 3270 emulator), or a 3rd party product like
XCOM or Connect:Direct. The 3rd party products support both tcp-ip and LU62
connections.
