A user creates a file. They immediately check it out to themselves. They
begin working on it and keep it checked out for 4 days. Never once checking
it in. They suffer a catatrosphic failure in the Application, like say Excel,
and go to reopen the file; well the one in SharePoint was never updated (even
though the date stamp show current).
Is there somewhere that we could have gone to and recovered the last "Saved"
version? Where is the temp file? |
