add new replica problems |
|
|
We have a dfs root with a link called apps, which contains all our
applications, which is pointing to a share on a filserver on the central
site. This share already contains data.
In a branch office we installed a new fileserver and we create a new target
under the link apps. On the branch office server we only created the share
that will contain the data.
replication is setup als hub and spoke, the central site is the hub and the
branch office server is the spoke.
(new branch offices will be setup later)
Now we have problems with the data, in our root the is een hidden folder
called something like ntfrs share not empty, and under that folder are the
directories with the applications.
How can we add new replica's to the an existing link without having these
problems.
I have setup the same with ris without problems.
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

OK. Good! So what was the problem? It might help some unlucky Googler...

Paul,
The problem is solved i just wasn't looking wright.
I think they need to fix the screens, so it's more obvious when you set the
initial master.
