Hi,

I have a site collection, http://<server1>/sites/siteA, with sub sites,
http://<server1>/sites/siteA/siteB/siteC. I wan't to move my site collection
to another server and at the same time delete one of the sub sites so it
looks like this,
http://<server2>/sites/siteA/siteC.
Is this possible?

Regards
Hans

If I had this task in front of me I would do it like this:

1) I would use STSADM on server1 to back up the Sites (or Site A) Site
collection.
2) I would use STSADM on server 2 to restore the backup from Server1.
3) I would use FrontPage 2003 or smigrate (be sure and specify username and
password regardless of whether you think you need to or not) to back the web
siteC up.
4) I would use FP2003 or smigrate (again with the username and password) to
restore siteC beneath siteA.

This isn't to say that's the best route to go, but that's probably who I'd
do it.
