I've heard through the grape-vine that Citrix is no longer supporting their
MP when the next version of Citrix rolls out. Can anybody validate / dispel
this rumor?

that would be no surprise for me...

most of the citrix management pack depends on the CITRIX WMI PROVIDER
which you have to install manually on every citrix server you want to
monitor.
in every mom installation i seen this provider makes problems. the service
stops
or don't works correctly,,,. since feature release 1 there was also no
update for this provider..
