Hello
Is it possible to have an account which can create printers on a Win2K
cluster but is NOT a member of the local adminstrators group on the cluster
nodes.
I have had a look round for this and can't see any obvious way.
I don't want the print admins to have access to data which is also on the
nodes
Thanks in advance.

Sure, see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;314486 you
can add a printer from a script.

A Print Operator can also add printers.

Cheers,

Rod

Thanks for the reply.
I tried the Print Operator role and it doesn't seem to work on a cluster.
I guess I will have to live with it.
