I have a very vague memory (sorry but active use of STS 1.0 was a *long*
time ago) that if you can't open the homepage at all it may be because you
have made changes to it in FP.

Whatever, as it is the standard home page, you can replace it with a
standard home page from another site (you'll have to change the some name
(or file path) fairly early in the code to match the site you have moved it
to).

That I remember as a solution that was needed at times too.

(Did you look at the STS FAQ at all?)

OK. Here's some more info on this issue....

I believe it's more of an issue (than just the lists). The reason
being, if I go into the site that's having the list problem - and I try
to Customize home page layout I get the following error....

"Unable to change homepage layout

An error occurred while trying to load the homepage for changes. Please
try again.

If this problem persists, please contact your administrator.

Any suggestions?

I did check out the FAQ, didn't find much more on this issue.

One thing I did try, is created a new SubWeb, and then took the data
from the not working Subweb and created it into the Temp Subweb. Once
I did that I ran the Server Health Check (from the server), and now the
shared documents are working. Unfortunately, none of the other "Quick
Launch" items are working...

Any more suggestions to get them to work, same error......
