Error running upgrade.exe when Upgrading from SPS2001 to SPS |

Hi,
I have successfully run upgrade.exe, spout.exe and spin.exe to
extract the category and documents from a SPS 2001 workspace to a new
SPS2003 workspace on my development machines. However when I run
upgrade.exe against my test server I get an error stating that the
c:\sps2003upgrade\$$_SharepointPortalV1ExportData_$$\[Parentcategoryname]\[ChildCategoryname].xml
file could not be saved. Category information for the workspace
[WorkspaceURL] could not be exported.
Where [ParentCategoryName] is my parent category name and
[ChildCategoryName] is my child category name. The parent category
name is 32 characters long and the child category name is 32 characters
long. This works fine in the other environment on different workspaces
with different category names. Does anyone have any idea how to fix or
work around this problem?
