I have created a site group called "Contributor No Delete" which is a clone
of the "Contributor" site group.

I'd like to add a user to a document library with this site group role. How
to I specify a user and site group name when I go to add that user to the
document library? I only have standard and advanced permissions, but no way
to remove the option for delete.

Any help would be appreciated on this, thanks.

I forgot to say that the Contributor No Delete site group is a copy of
"contributor" minus the ability for users to delete documents.
