we are having server lockups that require a hard boot every couple of days.

somebody suggested it might be a problem with the antivirus. Were using
trend.

Should we be telling trend to exclude the mdbdata folder?

Yes, you should exclude mdbdata. See

Yes, you must exculde those folders.
