hi,
i am using teamservices on win 2000. when i do a serach on my uploaded
docs i got this code on the screen.
any idea whats wrong?

Look in the STS FAQ (see my sig) and search on "Search". This is there.
(it's the .ipq file if I remember right).

i have done the steps in

and got 'Service is not running' error when trying to do a serach.
any idea?

i have managed to get the serach working but it does not display the
items that i have searched for.
i have got his on the screen even when the searched words are valid

"No records were found matching your query.
It may take several minutes for recently saved documents to appear in
the search results. "

seraching docs is working now, but when i try to search for *.msg
files. I still get this message:

"No records were found matching your query.
It may take several minutes for recently saved documents to appear in
the search results. "

..msg files are not included in the normal search.

you need to buy an IFilter (see the WSS FAQ item on this) Section III about
halfway down.

For any more on this question please post to the WSS newsgroup, I am not
going to reply any more in this newsgroup to avoid annoying people with STS
whose newsgroup it is.
