Dear Mike,

The users who get the three times password prompting are getting them
when they open the pages through links in the WSS homepage. The pages
are made in FP2003 but are based on the pages from WSS, so they are
amended WSS-pages. I did this so I could use iFrames so that I didn't
have to build about 120 pages in total but simply get them to open in
iFrames.

You also wrote that SP2 could be a problem in opening the iFrames. Can
I change anything in the settings or otherwise so that they can still
use the iFrames or isn't that an option?

Thanks for replying to my problem!

We see this once and a while and it's usually because while the user has
access to the page itself, they do not have access to something referenced
on the page. This has been any one of the following things:

1) An image in an image viewer web part.
2) A web page in a Web Capture web part.
3) A list referenced in a Data View Web Part.
4) A list referenced in our own list rollup web part.

When troubleshooting this I usually have them (or the site administrator)
pull web parts off until the problem goes away. If they can't get into the
page at all because of the error they can put ?contents=1 at the end of the
URL to get to the web part maintenance page. For instance,
http://servername/site/default.aspx?contents=1 If the user is comfortable
with Front Page you can also go in that way and turn the visibility of the
web part off.

Hope that helps,
tk
