Please help I need some advice, at my business I have a wired peer to peer
network connected to adsl broadband via a router, there are 4 pcs 3 xp home
1 xp pro. 1 of them with xp home has data they all use.

Shall I get a server to hold this data on it, what benefit will i get? I
have seen a Dell PowerEdge SC420 for £249+del. what software should the
server run. Thanks for your help

I don't see a significant benefit in that you only have a small network. If
nobody complains about your XP Home machine being slow, you don't have to
replace it with a dedicated Dell Server. You can just tell people your XP
Home machine is your company's File Server.
