Hi Jim,

Thanks for posting here!

Before we start, please help to answer the following questions to narrow
down the problem:

1. Does this issue occur on every client computer?
2. Are the users on the SBS LAN able to send and receive emails well?
3. Are there any error messages?

Meanwhile, I would like to recommend the following suggestions:

1. Create the email profile in Outlook 2003 again. For more information on
how to do it, please refer to:
How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;829918

2. Run CEICW wizard to confirm that the Internet access is right. For
more information, please refer to:
How to configure Internet access in Windows Small Business Server 2003
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825763#6

3. Run CIECW and perform the following steps to configure email settings.
See if you can send/receive emails in SBS LAN.
A. Open the CEICW window from the to do list.
B. In the first three windows, do not change "connection type", "firewall
configuration" and "Web server certificate".
C. Then choose "Enable internet e-mail" in the following window.
D. Follow the instruction and finish settings.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or if you need
further assistance.

Have a nice day!

Best regards,

Jerry Zhao (MSFT)
