You need to recover four things
a) the installation of STS on the C: drive
b) the file location of the document libraries etc. (usually
c:\inetpub\wwwroot 0r is that c:\wwwroot\inetpub ?
c) the database
d) the meta data
I don't understand the ASP files reference. STS does not have ASP files.

Hi Mike,
i have backup for the first three items, but what is metadata? where can i
find it?
Sorry, i mean the web pages at wwwroot.
After i have all of the items below, how to restore the website? Do i need
to manually recreate the users in the SharePoint Team Services site?
Thanks a lot for your help.

It's so long since I've had to do this that I can't really remember I'm
afraid.
I suspect it's specified in the STS FAQ somewhere and if not there, I'm
fairly sure the meta data is in IIS somewhere.
Sorry to be of no more help. With STS a back product for so long I'm running
on memory. (and that's fading)
