Hi,

Does anyone know which file I need to edit to prevent the 'New' word from
showing up on newly added items?

stsadm -o setproperty -propertyname days-to-show-new-icon -propertyvalue 0

then do an IISRESET.

Setting the value to zero should prevent the new icon from being displayed.
