Aaarrgh....

Arrived on site to find ALL attempts to logon to the fileserver pc being
disallowed even to domain admin.
No-one admitting guilt....

Logon error reads:-
"The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively"

This happens even with the domain admin logon!

Looks like something's fouled up the policy and I can't get in to repair it.

Any ideas gratefully received

file server pc???
Are you saying you are using a pc as the file server???
Not an extremely good practice.
What os is it running?
Can you ts into it??

I had that error when the DNS setting was incorrect on the client
machine. See if you can log on to a local account and check it.
