Re: MCMS Application Log Warning |

Hi Matt,
that can happen if someone deleted the local attachment in the postingbut a
cached version exists either in a search engin cache (like google) or in a
proxy server or somewhere else.
Then the brower tries to download the image based on the outdated posting
but as this resource is no longer there you will get this event log message.
Cheers,
Stefan.

| Quote: | Hello,
Recently, the Windows Application Log on my MCMS server has been being
filled with the following warning message:
An unrecognized request was received by the CMS ISAPI Filter. The request
was mapped to the CMS read-only resource cache virtual directory but the
URL
format did not correspond to a CMS Resource. The CMS ISAPI Filter did not
process the request and allowed IIS to handle it instead. The requested
URL
was
'/NR/rdonlyres/1E2EB29E-187F-400F-81F8-33F61E8C58EC/6447/image002.jpg'.
This "problem" doesn't seem to effect the rendering of pages on our site,
but it does tend to fill the application log rather quickly. What exactly
does this message mean? Does anyone know how I can track down what MCMS
object is referencing this resource so that I can remove it or is there a
better way to address this issue?
Thanks!
Matt Delfs
