Hello-

We have numerous PDFs in our Resource Manager whose access is supposed to be
restricted to Members Only. However, when, for example, someone does a
Google search the PDFs and their URLs turn up and anyone can access them.

Is there a way to set access limits on who/what can access the documents in
the Resource Manager so that these items cannot be 'discovered' in a Web
search? Or, am I just going to have to remove all these restricted items and
place them in a folder I can protect through another means.

Thanks so much, I appreciate any help.

Jenna

Hi Jenna,

access rights are given on the resource gallery by assigning rights groups
to them.
Only the users in the rights groups assigned to the gallery are able to
retrieve the items.
Ensure that only the correct users are assigned and this should not happen.

Cheers,
Stefan.

Stefan-

Brilliant! Thanks so much, we will do just that. This issue blindsided us,
so we weren't even thinking along those lines.

I really appreciate your help.
