Hi Lee,
without a network monitor trace it is impossible to say what's going on.
But you could check if there are any 3rd party firewally or content caches
which can cause such problems (e.g. if they drop a fin bit or modify the
content-length).
I would suggest to take a network monitor trace and get that analyzed to
check if the problem is caused on the server side, the client side or
somewhere inbetween.
