Hi,

I am looking at using HIS specifically for its DB2 ODBC connection. I need
to connect to a client's DB2 database and retrieve data into my database.
My question is can I purchase HIS Standard to do this or does the licensing
model for Microsoft expect me to purchase Enterprise edition (because I am
going from my network to a clients network)? I didn't find it clear when
reading the licensing and pricing white paper.

thanks for your help

AD - as far as I know you only need the standard edition.

Yes, the standard edition comes with the DB2 providers and should be all you
need.
The Enterprise edition also contains our Application Integration and
Messaging Integration features which are not part of the standard edition.
