Hi, we have a HIS server 2000/SPI connected to a 3270 host. In some cases
printer stop respondig, we stop all print servicise on HIS and Windows 2003
then reset the printer on the host and all work correcly....but on the sna
manager we have all printers in "inactive status"

with the "debug logging option" we can see in the event log all the printers
correctly conneted, some ideas?

There are post-SP1 hotfixes for HIS 2000 that fix a lot of printing issues -
may well stop you getting this issue in the first place. You'll have to
contact MS PSS to get these fixes.

Other than that an SNA trace of the SNA print service will be needed by MS PSS
to debug what's going on.
