Hi all,

HIS 2000 and 2004 had the ability to synchronize users accounts between
Active Directory and RACF. I want to evaluate this feature in my
environment, but I didn't find a technical article explaining how this
feature really works.

All I found is article 175063 "Host Security Integration setup and
architectural overview" that applies to SNA Server 3.0 and 4.0.

Anybody knows if there is a similar article on Host Integration Server 2.000
or 2.004? Anybody can point me to some articles about this technique?

One thing to note, the entire archetecture for the implementation of this
feature, including the host requirements, for using the Host Account
Cache/Single Sign On/Password Syncronization has changed between Host
Integration Server 2000 and Host Integration Server 2004.

If you are looking to do a new implemention of this, I would strongly
reccomend that you take a look at HIS 2004, as opposed to using the older
model.
