HIS2004, TN3279 and SSL |
|
|
Hi there,
has someone made some progress getting connected to the tn3270 service
through ssl?
I requested and installed a "server authentication certificate" and it
is viewable under the personal certificates, the tn3270 service runs
under. I used as a cn the name of the server as it is written as cn in
the certificate but still get an error stating, that there is no vaild
cert.
Any ideas?
TIA

Found it out myself. I entered "cn=server.domain.suffix" and the gui
only takes "server.domain.suffix".

Hello,
According to my documentation, as well as seing it work using the computer
name of the machine that has HIS2004 installed.
If this does not work, please reopen and I will test it further.
Thank you,
