Using Sharepoint as an Extranet? |
|
|
Can this be done? I already have an Intranet Sharepoint server setup but our
vendors and affiliates can't access it without us giving them a network
account. If the users don't have a network account..........what other
authentication could I use so the site is not completely public?
Thanks in advance,
Dan |

Please say which version of SharePoint you mean.
This newsgroup is for the back product SharePoint Team Services (2001)
The two new products you'll find at
Windows SharePoint Services - microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices
SharePoint Portal Server 2003 - microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver
Post to one of those if you mean (as I expect) a new product.

Sorry, I did mean Windows SharePoint Services.............I thought team
sites or team services were just other names for WSS.
