Is this list dead? |

Curious, that there have not been any answers provided to recent posts and
am wondering if this list is on its last legs. There are still a lot of SPTS
sites and users out here with real problems.

It's not dead, but it STS version 1 (which this group serves) seems to be
fading away as more users transition to WSS. Most of the posts in this group
are WSS questions that should be handled in the WSS newsgroup. That leaves
around 4-5 STS posts per week, which is a fraction of the traffic at the WSS
newsgroup. As for answers, I usually only chime in on STS issues that I can
provide useful input on; topics such as STS interactions with Frontpage 2003
are outside of my (limited) expertise.

I've been away for two weeks hence my lack of responsiveness recently (back
22nd). Like Roger I try to answer what I can of the STS questions but as I
am mostly concentrating on WSS these days it's often hard to remember what
is different in STS and I'm wary of giving *wrong* answers.
Also as Roger says most messages here are incorrectly posted WSS messages
and re-directing them takes up time that could be more usefully used
thinking about the few STS questions.
