There is no longer a STS v2, that name was changed in the beta phase (in May
2003) to "Windows SharePoint Services" (WSS).
This newsgroup is for SharePoint Team Services (ie. the original version)
Please post WSS questions to its newsgroup

I backup the old server with migration tool.
I install new server with share point team services v2, when i trail to
migrate with the migration tool to restore the data i got error that i
don't
have a sharepoint install on the server.
Old server is with a MSDE databse.
New server to a SQL database server.
