I have to create web folders for students every semester and usually I add
200-300 new web folders each semester. I currently am manually creating
these folders and it takes a lot of time. Does anyone know if you can
automate this process? We have all of the information that we would need to
automate this in a database already. I just don't know the steps that would
need to be taken to automate.

"Web folder" isn't a term I know in connection with STS.

Do you mean custom lists or document libraries or subwebs or what ?

I used to create subwebs by hand, so I'm no use to you.

I suppose you've looked at the STS Admin Guide and SDK to see if there are
command line tools for subweb creation? (I have a feeling there might be).

Otherwise, anyone else out there with something on this ??
