Sign in Button missing |
|
|
Hi All,
I just installed Sharepoint WSS with SP 1. I create my site with the meeing
template. When I open the site with my administrator computer, I get a login
box. But, when I just use a browser from a different computer the sign in
button is missing. Has anyone seen this before?
Thanks, |

This is a bit confusing.
a) your machine - login box
b) another machine - no sign in button
seems like two different things to me ...
Can you clarify?
Also try another site from both machines. For instance the WSS FAQ site
(wss.collutions.com) is a WSS site where I can see the Sign In button when I
access it from two different browsers. (It's anonymous access though).
I actually get a log-in box from my main work machine and no log-in box from
another work machine (but both show the Sign In when accessing the WSS FAQ
site), but this is a "function" of their IE settings nothing as such to do
with WSS.
