Is there a way to audit user activity in WSS? I don't see one and searching
the help file doesn't turn up much.

We have several wss admins on our site, I was looking for a way to be about
to tell who did what.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. What we did was to create an event
handler and attach it to all document / forms / picture libraries and log
whatever action was taken. We also search the IIS log files for denied
access entries. If you find any "out of the box" feature that does that,
please tell me :)

The only log I know WSS has is one that tells you what pages were accessed
and by whom. But it doesn't tell you what action was taken in those pages.

Hi Jason,

It's located in every WSS site at "Site Settings / Go To Site Administration
/ View site usage data". But you should first enable the usage analysis
processing. This should be done in the WSS Central Administration Tool, by
clicking in "Configure usage analysis processing".

Hope that helps
