RE: "Date Picture Taken" woes |

Nope, this has not been fixed. I've looked for a solution several times since
my original post, but I have not been able to find anything. This is really a
shame, as the Picture Libray in WSS is actually quite good. But without
support for reading the EXIF information in the image files, it is to much
work to enter it manually.
I've seen several other posters with the same problem, but usually they
don't get an answer so I presume that there really isn't an easy way to fix
this problem. Just wonder why they removed this function, as it worked before
applying SP1.

libraries.
1) When I import a digital image into the library the field isn't populated
from the properties of the file. According to this old post
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.sharepoint.windowsservices/browse_frm/thread/d226bb32c2c7608b
looks like I am not the only one who hit this. Is there any fix for this
problem?
2) Because of the problem above I tried to manually edit this field for each
picture. Unfortunately the "Edit Properties" form only allows the time to be
set in increments of 5 minutes (00, 05, 10 etc.) Is there a way to change
this? For the images I have it is really important to distinguish between
10:28 and 10:29 ;-)
