I have HIS 2000 Server installed on my laptop. When I try to install SP2
the SP2 Install option is disabled. Why?

I had SP2 Beta installed on this machine, and I uninstalled it. This
removed the RTM version which I then re-installed. But now I can't install
the offical SP2.

You cannot apply SP2 to the evaluation version of HIS 2000.

If you reinstalled the HIS 2000 RTM then the product code should be
registered with MSI. Do a SNAVER at a command line to confirm the version
(Eval, Retail, Select, etc.).

Exactly right. I thought I had a Dev MSI, but it was an Eval MSI. Sigh.
