anonymous access does not work |

Hi all
I am trying to enable anonymous acces in my sharepoint site:
1. i enabled anonymous access in iis 6
2. in sharepoint, site settings, manage security, user and permissions
section i selected areas,content and search for the level of anonymous
access
Still i am prompted with user credentials?

Hey Jim
Somewhere, a WebPart or script is forcing the credential check. If you're
hardcore (and it fits your solution), remove WindowsAuthentication from this
port and use another port for the administration.
