Dear Steven,

Its the page where I am, but as I said before in the vertical mode the
current node (area) is linkable but in the horizontal mode its not :(
why ?????

This may be too obvious, but you can edit the display by going to the page
then:
Edit Page>Modify Shared Webpart>BreadCrumbTrail. In the Custom Properties
section uncheck Vertical Mode.

I do not know how to edit the webpart to make this the default. Also I would
assume that you would have to update each page where the webpart appears.
