Hello, I am interested in using Sharepoint for document management. Do you
know if it is only Microsoft office documents that can be managed using
Sharepoint or can any type of documents be managed? I would like to be able
to manage large drawing files (from AutoCAD) - do you think this is possible?

You can manage any type of file in Sharepoint. You must have the program like
autocad on your client to be able to open and edit the files.
