Portal Home Page Appearance |

|
A couple questions about Portal Server 2003...
1) Is it possible to get rid of the "Microsoft Office SharePoint Portal
Server 2003" in the upper left hand corner?
2) Is it possible to change the color scheme of the portal home page?
In individual sites it's simple by going to site settings but when I
try going to site settings on the main page, there is nothing like
"Apply Theme"
3) Is there any way to create your own theme? |

To get rid of the image you can change it several ways:
1. Upload your own image overwriting the image used by default, this can be
found in the file system by searching for the image name.
2. Under Site Settings you can change the default image and cascading style
sheet.
To change the color scheme of the portal you can edit the Cascading Style
Sheet of the portal which is called SPS.CSS and is also located in the file
system. Sites use OWS.CSS and My Site uses msite.css.
You will want to look at the SharePoint SDK for implementing your own Theme,
this can be downloaded here:
