'Alert Me' security problem |
|
|
I set up a list of people's holidays. The only view that is available is one
where it presents you with your listing that matches your login name. That
way I can create a large list, but people will only be able to see their
listing. All other views are removed, with permissions to view only.
This all worked fine, until I experimented by seeing what would happen if I
created an alert on this list. Any additions are then emailed to the user,
where they can see the other staffs holiday details. I guess this is only to
be expected.
So, now I figure I just need to remove the ability to create an alert on
this list. Is this possible ? I tried to edit the page within Frontpage will
no success.
Could someone help ?
Regards,
Jamie. |
