Limiting event web part

How can I remove the "add new event" link on the event web part on a portal
home page. I don't wan't "Readers" to see this and go through all the steps
and then be denied access.

It is easy to do it. Edit Page--> Modify the Shred Page --> Select Modify the
event web part --> Choose "no toolbar" under Toolbar Type
