Does anyone have any guidance on how to estimate the size of the MOM 2005
reporting database, based on ... (for example)

20 managed computers
13 months (395 days) history (the default)

I would like to be able to estimate the database data and log sizes as well
as recommendation for server CPU count and memory (just as the MOM management
sizer does).

thanks

Not really 'cause it depends on what MP's you have installed and how much
they are collecting per day. However, you can do a quick calculation
yourself (see the operations guide for this info).

Basically, measure the average size your operational DB grows per day
(data). Your warehouse log file should be about 5 to 6 times that. Your
warehouse data file will be 2 times that / day (the doubling is for the
extra indexes).
