When I tried to install Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2003, I
received the following error message:
Error 1920. Service RtcSrv (RtcSrv) failed to start. Verify that you have
sufficient privileges to start system services.

I applied the instruction in “Article ID: 883320”
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;883320

However I continue getting the same error message. Can someone guide/help me
to find a solution?

This thread may help. I think that KB883320 came out of this.

Make sure that the RTCService service account is in RTCHSDomainServices and
that RTCHSDomainServices is in the local administrative group on your LCS
server.

Oh...and make sure that the password for the service account has not
expired.
