Are you trying to deploy Windows Messenger via GPO? I would suggest, if
possible, to deploy it via the Computer Configuration rather than the User
Configuration scope of your Group Policy.
The workstation you are installing the software on, if you have created a
customized .msi, does not either see a signature in the file or can't
connect to the CRL (Certificate Revocation List).
The official version of Window Messenger is signed by Microsoft, so even
with a GPO that only allows a signed application to install, this should
work. Rather than utilizing a custom .msi, can you deploy Windows Messenger
first and then apply customizations via a login script or batch file? Those
should be able to make changes and drop files in place without the need to
be signed.
