I have ISA set-up with both nics on pirvate addresses because we are using a
hardware based firewall as well. The adress that is the public side of ISA
does not have any resources on it, all of those are on the private side. The
hardware infront of ISA is creating a VPN, which works fine but that box is
on the same subnet as the ISA public side.

Is it possible to publish a printer IP adddress on the prtivate side of the
ISA so it can be seen by those who have a hardware VPN set-up with the
public side?

Thank you

I have what I think is the exact same question. We have a remote office
connected to the main office via a VPN. There are two (2) NICs in the
server. The configuration of the server and routers are as follows:

Server NIC 1 (Private Address) 192.168.1.x
Server NIC 2 (Private Address) 10.0.0.x

Gateway Router at Main Office LAN IP 10.0.0.1

VPN Main Office 10.0.0.x Internal to 10.0.1.x Remote (Linksys)
VPN Remote Office 10.0.1.x Internal to 10.0.0.x Remote (Linksys)

Gateway Router at Remote Office LAN IP 10.0.1.1

Remote Workstation IP 10.0.1.3
Remote Print Server IP 10.0.1.4

A print server printer port has been set up on the server with the address
10.0.1.4.
It is possible to ping 10.0.1.4 from the server.
File and Print Sharing is enabled on the external (10.0.0.x) adapter on the
server.
WINS has been disabled on the 10.0.0.x adapter on the server to force SMB
printing.

Can't print a test page.... Any thoughts?

Help me come up with a solution for this by Friday, 1/14/05 and receive a
